Cory Siegler
A Snake, 2018, Unframed

A Snake is a risograph print from Cory Siegler’s Infinite Snakes series, a collection of hybrid drawings of snakes in text and color. Infinite Snakes was originally created on Google Docs. Infinite Snakes explores the inexhaustible combination of keyboard characters as a mean to create various type of snakes. Printmaker and textile artist Cory Siegler (b. 1986) is best known for her large Modular Quilt Sets, a series of quilts made to be both showcased in a gallery or worn on the body. Her blended use of earth tone and tribal pattern also brings to mind a retro aesthetic, ultimately fostering a contemporary and unique design. She now lives and works in Brooklyn.
