Amanda Jasnowski and Math Times Joy
What’s Love Got To Do With It?
Commissioned by Imprint Projects to commemorate their 5th birthday (which falls on Valentine’s Day), this screenprint is a collaboration between Amanda Jasnowski and Math Times Joy. Using the title “What’s Love Got To Do With It?” as a prompt, Imprint Projects invited five sets of artists and designers on a ‘blind date,’ in which each pair collaborated on a print without ever meeting before. A not-for-profit organisation was selected by each couple to receive a portion of the proceeds from the sale of their poster - in this case, Jasnowski and Math Times Joy selected Planned Parenthood.
Amanda Jasnowski is a Spanish photographer, raised in Ohio and currently living and working in Brooklyn, NY. Math Times Joy is a San Francisco-based design studio.
Imprint Projects, f. 2011, is a creative agency based in New York, Los Angeles and San Francisco, innovating new branding platforms for non-profits, businesses and communities.
