This signed silkscreen print by preeminent graphic designer Bob Gill was commissioned as a special edition by the English screenprinting cooperative Print Club London. Breathing new life into some of Gill’s most iconic works, the suite of 6 prints was produced to commemorate his book “Bob Gill, so far” (Laurence King Publishing, 2011). Heralded as one of the most innovative designers of the modern era, Gill’s definitive work came into prominence when he worked in London in the 1960s. His prolific teachings and timeless design philosophies have profoundly impacted contemporary visual culture. Bob Gill, b. 1931, is an American graphic designer. Co-founder of the legendary Fletcher/Forbes/Gill company, which would later evolve into Pentagram, Gill’s influence as a culture-maker, teacher and philospher has been far-reaching.
