This poster collects a series of 14 photographs Bruno Munari shot in 1944. Seeking Comfort in an Uncomfortable Chair analyzes how comfort can be sacrificed in favor of design, even with an object like an armchair, that is meant to provide rest. The series was originally published in a 1944 article in the Italian design publication Domus and reprinted as a book by Corraini in 2013.
