Figurative Diptych, 1965/94, Framed

This diptych edition is a facsimile print of Dan Graham’s poem, Figurative, which was published in Harpers Bazaar ad space in 1965. The print shows the full Harper Bazaar spread with the poem by Graham in between two advertisements, one for tampons and the other for women’s lingerie. Graham has worked in numerous mediums spanning his five decade career, including writing, photography, video, installation, and architecture. Dan Graham, b. 1942, is an American conceptual artist.
