In this ongoing collection of work, Todd Colby compiles found ephemera, then overlays the printed matter with phrases of poetry, commentary, or drawings by hand. The mundane and idyllic scenes of the ephemera is undercut by Colby’s distinctive blend of humor, absurdity, and poignance—together, they read as an ode to American culture and a guttural response to the current political climate.
