Mary Manning
First Impressions of Greece, 2014, Framed/Unframed

This limited edition print features a film photo from Mary Manning’s debut book First Impressions of Greece. The idea for the project came about after Manning spontaneously booked a vacation to Greece and received a copy of Henry Miller’s book of the same title. Documenting her recent travels through the Grecian landscape, Manning’s photographs bestow a sense of monumental presence to what are otherwise quiet, incidental observations. Mary Manning is an American photographer. She lives and works in New York City, where she runs the website Unchanging Window. Digital archival print Edition of 50, Signed and numbered Peradam 14.75 × 11.75 inches framed 14 × 11 inches unframed
