Drawing reference from artists such as Leanne Shapton and Giorgio Morandi, this series of still lifes are an exercise in practical observation and application. The ceramics depicted are by contemporary ceramicist, Natalie Weinberger. The artist states, "There is nothing complicated about these works, if anything should be taken away from them, it should be a sense of calm, and stillness, a break from significance and meaning."
