This poster was printed on the occasion of Picture Room’s sixth Featured Artist show with Richard Kostelanetz in 2015. The Picture Room graphic identity, designed by Benjamin Critton, nods to the rectangle as the historic mode of art-making, using classical proportions to enact various iterations of the Golden Ratio.
Richard Kostelanetz, b. 1940, is a writer, artist, critic and editor. His mediums include prints, books, sound, and film. He lives and works in New York.
Benjamin Critton, b. 1983, is an American artist and graphic designer. He is a graduate of the Yale School of Art, and lives and works in Los Angeles.
